Why this site
eIDAS 2 consists of a regulation, dozens of implementing acts, technical standards, Commission documents and, in Belgium, laws and decrees. These texts are public, but scattered, technical and often long.
This site has two aims:
- to make eIDAS 2 understandable, even without prior knowledge, through a seven-step guided path;
- to make it verifiable: each statement points to the article, annex or clause that supports it, and the library gives access to the sources themselves.
The official texts are the source; the site is only a guide to them. How it is built and checked is described on the Method and sources page.
Who publishes it
The site is written and kept up to date by Asphalia Consulting. The written content (explanations, summaries, records, diagrams) is signed “Written by Asphalia”; the official texts quoted or reproduced remain those of their authors and are never presented as ours.
